Imagined History, Real Car: Martini Mustang

This Petrolicious video blew me away recently. It features an early fastback Mustang powered by a 1966 Ford/Lotus Indy Car motor and exists as the result of a little historical conjecture. Steve Strope of Pure Vision, a Southern California fabricator, imagined what the result of mid-sixities rally-racing union between Ford and Martini Racing might look like. The Martini Mustang is the result. It’s amazing.
