About the car
The Cougar sprang to life in the 1967 model year as Mercury’s stablemate to the Ford Mustang. Both cars shared the same basic underpinnings, although the Cougar could be ordered with a 427 cu. in. (7.0-liter) motor at a time when the Mustang’s option sheet maxed out at 302 cu. in. (4.9-liter).
The long nose, the cool, hidden headlamps, this was the refined, V8 coupe to have in the late 1960s. My dad had one. My wife’s step dad one. It looked stylish with wire wheels or brawny on mags. Today they’re a little less known, but that’s all the more reason to revive it here.
About the print
Each print is a piece of automotive art featuring iconic, 20th-century cars, from the golden age of automobile design of the '50s, '60s, and '70s through to the '80s and '90s, rendered in a crisp, modern, vector illustration.
They are printed on heavyweight, 10-mil, acid-free stock with vivid, crisp, high-dynamic-range, archival inks. Framed, these prints will remain fade-free for up to 200 years. These are much more than just a poster.
They’re for sale here and designed to look fantastic in your home, office, or garage.
